🇫🇷 Paris
Louvre & the Eiffel Tower
The plan
- Morning — The Louvre. Tickets must be booked online with a timed entry. The Denon wing (Mona Lisa, Venus de Milo, Winged Victory) is the must-see if you're short on time. Allow 3 hours minimum. (Note: the Louvre is closed Tuesdays — Wednesday morning is our window.)
- Afternoon — Lunch + rest, optional stroll through the Tuileries.
- Evening — Eiffel Tower. Sunset is the magic hour. Book the elevator ahead of time. The hourly sparkle (every hour on the hour after dark, for 5 minutes) is worth seeing from below too.
Accessibility
The Louvre is enormous. Free wheelchairs are available at the entrance, benches are scattered throughout, and elevators connect every level. The Carrousel entrance (underground, via the shopping arcade) is the most step-free way in.
